Background

Coca-Cola had placed their state of the art Coca-Cola freestyle machine in McDonald’s restaurants throughout southwestern Ontario. This unique beverage dispenser allows for a variety of beverages and flavour options to be created by the consumer based on their personal preferences. LPi was asked to develop a communication strategy that would drive beverage incidence and everyday value meal sales.

The Solution

Understanding that variety and choice drive demand, and with 100+ drink
choices available through the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, our challenge was clear. LPi designed a unique icon that successfully communicated the plethora of flavour options available to be enjoyed in one cup. Our design was integrated into communication that met the brand standards of both Coca-Cola and McDonald’s and included strategically crafted language that was easy-to-understand in a fast-paced environment.
